I have set out on a mission to help as many people as possible navigate the Income Flow of life.

 

In the 1980s, when country singer Willie Nelson was raising money for Farm Aid much of the country was in a drought, and many of the farmers were in need this of assistance to keep afloat.

​

My husband had just finished his military service. He and I were starting the next chapter in our lives.

​

We were offered a partnership contract with my father-in-law, Lee. He had a partnership contract with Hans that covered any business endeavor my father-in-law engaged in.

​

Lee believed Hans to be a wonderful friend, and proudly showed us their partnership contract.

​

Under this contract, Hans was entitled to all of the profits from the farm as well as, any other business endeavors. Lee was paid by Hans not in profits or earnings but in gifts.

​

This was just enough that he believed Hans had his best interests in mind and that the next project would be the big payout.

​

Both Hans and Lee worked very hard to convince my husband and I this was the deal of a lifetime.

​

Yes, it would be the deal of a lifetime… for Hans and Hans alone!

To us, this was nothing more than a modern indentured servant's contract.

They were disappointed when we declined the offer. Lee never got over it, though.

​

Hans passed away unexpectedly, and all the assets were his/ his estate.

All of the liabilities belonged to my father in-law. This means he was stuck with paying all of the bills but none of the profits or assets.

​

Nearly 20 years later at Lee’s memorial service we learned that most of the family never knew of his life long partnership contract that took all of his earnings.

​

We dodged a financial bullet, but my husband’s father did not.

​

This experience put me on a course of studying different business opportunities to achieve a debt free life and financial independence. I took the advice of others, invested in the market, developed land, rental properties, starting companies and sold them. Having survived market corrections such as Black Monday, Dot Com bust, 9/11, Housing bust, the Great Recession and many other over the years.

​

It became very clear that there had to be a better way of having consistent growth without the major losses.
